Steel Drums – Tight-Head Drums
We offer a wide range of stock of UN approved steel tight head drums for use in most industries. The range is manufactured from mild steel and available in sizes starting from 6 litres continuing to 210 litres. Colours include blue and black although other colours are available. Internal finishes can be plain or lacquered. Polycomposite tight head drums ranging in size from 5 litre through to 210 litres. Most of our range is dual certified for both liquids and solids.
The steel tight head drum range comes complete with the industry standard 2″ and 3/4″ tri-sure bungs. Industry applications include chemicals, paints, solvents, oils, lubricants and coolants.
Variations
- Hoops – rolling hoops, W-hoops, container hoops, optionally additional corrugations or straight sided.
- Closures – manufactured according to ISO 15750-3
- Top end with G2 + G3/4 / 2 x G2 / third bung optionally
- Additionally body bung possible centred between rolling hoops
- Closure material steel or plastics (PP)
- Closure design; phosphatised, galvanised, galvanised and coated.
- Surfaces – outside; single or multi-coloured stove-enamelled. Inside; raw, free of oil/grease, temporary corrosion protection, stove-enamelled, FDA approved (suitable for food).
